What are the benefits of taking prenatal classes?

Prenatal classes provide education on childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care, as well as an opportunity to connect with other expectant parents. It can also help reduce anxiety and increase confidence during pregnancy and childbirth.

Do you offer doula services?

Yes, we can provide emotional support and advocacy during labor and childbirth however this service cannot be combined with our Midwifery services.

What is your policy on pain management during labor?

We support a mother's right to make decisions about pain management during childbirth. Our classes cover a variety of pain management techniques, including natural methods, and we work with each mother to create a personalized birth plan.

What happens if we need to transfer to a higher level of care?

Your Midwife will facilitate a transfer of care to the nearest medical facility and include your medical records. A report will be given to the charge nurse and the Midwife will assist as allowed by the medical complex.
